Baldwin deli robbed at gunpoint

Nassau County police are investigating a robbery that occurred on April 14 in Baldwin.

According to detectives, four employees, two men ages 19 and 23, and two females ages 25 and 32, were closing the United Deli at 590 West Seaman Avenue at 9:19 p.m. As they were locking the store, two subjects forced them back inside. Subject 1 armed with a black handgun demanded that 23 year-old male employee to open the register. The victim complied and placed an undisclosed amount of money and a Dell laptop into the subjects backpack. The two suspects fled the scene southbound on Pine Street. There were no injuries reported.

The first suspect is described as male, black, in his mid 20’s, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, mask, and gloves.

The second suspect is described as black, thin build, mid 20’s wearing pink striped pants, dark hooded sweatshirt, mask , gloves, and blue backpack.
