Bistro-style Italian cuisine with artistic twists

Pastas are $14 to $16, and entrees, $16 to $38. At least three dozen dinner options are available. Spinach Anglotti, or moon-shaped ravioli, were perked with sweet sausage, heirloom tomatoes, sautéed spinach, homemade mozzarella and delicious demi glaze. Another special, Blackened Salmon, was perched on a bed of lentil salad lush with grapes, tomatoes and cucumbers, in honey-citrus vinaigrette. Veal chop lovers must try Colombo’s version. Amazingly tender with a flavor to match, this center-cut rib chop was stuffed with prosciutto and mozzarella, finished with mushroom Marsala sauce, sided with mashed potatoes.

Desserts are $7 to $10, and all homemade by Tony Colombo’s nephew, an extraordinary pastry chef. Over-stuffed cannolli was dotted with chocolate chips. Berry tart had strawberries, blueberries and raspberries over custard, filling a luscious crust.

Happy Hour, from Tuesday through Saturday, offers reduced priced appetizers and drinks at the bar. Fixed price dinners are available on certain days. Check the website for promotions, special and events. As this restaurant is new, exciting additions are still being planned.

On-premise parties for up to 75 can be arranged. Off-site catering and takeout trays are great ways to host a party or dinner at home. Tony Colombos Italian Bistro is open for dinner from 5 p.m. Tuesday through

Saturday, and from 4 p.m. on Sunday. They are closed on Monday. Reservations are suggested.
