Arrests

A 37-year-old of Kew Gardens, Queens was arrested and charged with sale of a controlled substance (heroin) on Sunrise Highway on Nov. 28 at 7:45 p.m.

On Nov. 28 at 8:50 p.m., a 19-year-old male of Baldwin was arrested and charged with grand larceny, two counts of possession of stolen property, four counts of assault, resisting arrest, escape and criminal contempt stemming from a burglary that occurred on Nov. 27 on Earle Avenue.

At 11:05 p.m. on Nov. 28, a 20-year-old male of Far Rockaway, Queens was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operator, speeding, unlicensed operator, a lane violation and failure to signal on Sunrise Highway.

A 25-year-old female of Oceanside and a 21-year-old female of North Bellmore were arrested on Nov. 29 at 6:45 p.m. and both charged with assault stemming from an incident that occurred on Nov. 24 on Stauderman Avenue.

On Dec. 1 at 3:57 p.m., a 21-year-old of Bay Shore was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal impersonation, speeding, operating without insurance, unlawful possession of marijuana and aggravated unlicensed operation stemming from an incident on Sept. 20.

At 4:58 p.m. on Dec. 1, a 23-year-old male of Freeport was arrested and charged with operating without insurance, aggravated unlicensed operator and several other violations on Sunrise Highway.

A 55-year-old of Bethpage, who worked as a clerk at Metro PCS on Sunrise Highway, was arrested on Dec. 2 at 3:20 p.m. after an investigation by Lynbrook detectives and was charged with trademark counterfeiting for selling counterfeit otterbox cell phone cases.

On Dec. 4 at 9:44 a.m., a 39-year-old of Uniondale was arrested and charged with unlicensed operator, aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to cover loose cargo, failure to wear a seatbelt and driving under the influence of alcohol on Sunrise Highway.

Thefts

Two New York state license plates were removed from a 2016 Dodge Charger on Dec. 1 at 1 p.m.

$300 was stolen from a victim’s Citibank checking account on Dec. 3 at 10:08 a.m.

$1,938 was charged on a victim’s MasterCard debit card at 5 p.m. on Dec. 3.
