Cuomo: 'Things will be getting back to normal'
Anthony Rifilato/Herald
Many residents, like those on Louisiana Street in the West End, said that they are waiting for trash pick up.

“We're going to be preparing updates regularly that will be distributed throughout the community by volunteers, in Spanish and English, and taken all around town to try to communicate to our residents who are still here," Tepper said of the city's attempts to communicate with residents who may not be able to check the city's website or Facebook page. “We have meetings every morning to give status reports and we try to get the message out to as many people as possible."

"Things will be getting back to normal, and slowly we will rebuild," said Cuomo, "and we're not just going to rebuild the homes that were lost, we're going to rebuild them better than they were before."
