Gas leak in Baldwin

An automobile slammed into a Baldwin house on Milburn and Brooklyn Avenues today near the LIRR tracks north of Sunrise Highway. The collision caused a gas leak, and National Grid shut off gas to the area as a precautionary measure. They now say there is little danger from the leak. There may have been injuries associated with the crash, but there is no official word as of this writing.
