High woman collides with drunk driver

A Baldwin woman drove the wrong way on the Southern State Parkway while high on drugs, colliding with a Merrick man who was driving while intoxicated and in possession of cocaine and opiate pills around 3:16 a.m. on June 20, state police said.

Bianca Boursiquot, 20, was driving northbound in the southbound lanes of the Wantagh State Parkway when state police first received a phone call. While driving a green Honda CRV, Boursiquot then proceeded onto the Southern State Parkway traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes where she was involved in a collision with Kenneth Riggio, 55, driving his Ford Econoline Van east of Exit 27, police said.

No injuries were reported in the collision. 

Boursiquot was arrested and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and second-degree reckless endangerment, both misdemeanors, and several traffic violations. Riggio was charged with driving while intoxicated, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a Class E Felony, and traffic violations.
