Holdup at Capital One bank

A man held up a teller at the Capital One bank on Grand Avenue on Nov. 17, authorities said.

According to Nassau County police, a man entered the bank at 5:43 p.m. and handed a teller a note that demanded money.

After he was given an undisclosed sum of money, the man left the bank, at 2303 Grand Ave., through the rear door. It was not known which he direction he headed, police said. No injuries were reported.

The thief was described as black, six feet tall with a thin build, and wearing a blue hoodie and a fake beard, police said.
