The kids’ uniforms were nice and clean during the ceremony at Baldwin Park to kick off the Baldwin Little League season last Saturday, but they didn’t stay that way for long.
Children from Baldwin got their first game action of the baseball and softball seasons in on April 25 as another exciting season got underway.
Prior to the ceremony, in which local elected officials stopped by to mark the occasion, the league hosted the annual MLB Pitch, Hit and Run Competition for kids ages 7 to 14 to show off their skills.
