Overcast Man shot in Baldwin
A man is listed in critical condition after sustaining a gun shot wound to the chest, Nassau County Police said.
According to detectives, police responded to a 911 call in a parking lot at 1289 Grand Avenue at 11:57 p.m. on Monday. When they arrived on the scene, they found a male victim, 20, with a gun shot wound to the chest.
According to police, another male subject was seen entering a black sedan and fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and listed in critical condition.
Details about the male subject who fleed are not known at this time. Police only described him as black. The investigation is ongoing.
