Man shot in leg

A 26-year-old man was shot in the leg after leaving a party on Ann Street in Baldwin on July 10 at 10:06 p.m., police said.

According to detectives, the male victim left the party on Ann Street in the vicinity of Jeffrey Drive when he heard gunshots and felt a pain in his right leg. He was transported in a private vehicle to a local hospital for treatment of his injury.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding the above incident to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous
