There was a special guest at Baldwin Public Library over the weekend, although many of his stories have been on bookshelves for years. Curious George entertained children at the BPL’s Library Card Sign-Up Day on Sept. 20
There were also raffles, crafts and giveaways for those on hand as people signed up for library cards. Library Director Elizabeth Olesh told the Herald over the summer that about 20,000 Baldwin resident have library cards, but she was looking to see that number increase.
While Curious George took photos and interacted with children, The Man with the Yellow Hat was missing all the fun.
