Port Authority seeks public input on plane noise, Nov. 3

Meeting to be held at the Cradle of Aviation Museum

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is hosting a public workshop at the Cradle of Aviation Museum on Thursday, Nov. 3 from 6-9 pm to gather public input on noise levels created by aircraft operations around John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Noise Exposure Maps will be presented that describe the airport layout and related levels of noise exposure in the surrounding area for the current year and projected levels in 2021.

All are invited and encouraged to attend. The Cradle of Aviation Museum is located on Charles Lindbergh Blvd. in Garden City.

A second public input meeting will be held in Queens at the Hilton Hotel in the JFK Airport. That meeting is on Tuesday, Nov. 2 from 6‐9:00 pm.
