Shelter in place lifted at BHS, Brookside
Chris Connolly
The “shelter in place” order was lifted at both Brookside Elementary School and Baldwin Senior High School just after 1 p.m. on Jan. 18.

The “shelter in place” order was lifted at both Brookside Elementary School and Baldwin Senior High School just after 1 p.m. on Jan. 18.

The change in status was reported to district parents via a Blackboard Connect message at 1:10 p.m. In addition to containing the information that restrictions on student movements would be removed, the message said, “the police are completing their investigation and will continue to be a presence in the area until the end of the day.”

The school district was not able to provide details as to the nature of the threat yet, but hoped to have more information soon.
