Spring clean your life

The Elmont Memorial Library will be hosting motivational speaker Constance Hallinan Lagan on March 31 at 12:30 p.m. Her seminar, “Spring Clean Your Life: Three Steps to the Life You Want” will teach guests how to incorporate awareness, acknowledgment and action into their daily lives, and clean it up to make room for happiness and enjoyment. Easter egg hunt

The Valley Stream Recreation Department will hold an Easter egg hunt on April 8 at the Kiddie Rec Playground in Hendrickson Park. Children in grades kindergarten through second-grade will hunt for eggs at 11 a.m. and children in third- and fourth-grade will hunt for eggs at 11:45 a.m. All gold and silver egg finders will receive prizes. Children between the ages of 1- and 4-years-old will have an opportunity to meet the Easter bunnies at 12:30 p.m. under the gazebo at Hendrickson Park.

Pioneer tales

Journey back in time to the Western frontier of the late 1800s in “Laura Ingalls Wilder,” the new musical based on the life of the “Little House on the Prairie” author. Young audiences will enjoy the adventures of the spirited pioneer girl and her family, as they load up their covered wagon travel across the prairie to find a new home, Sunday, Sunday, April 2, at the Madison Theatre in Rockville Centre.
