Kennedy researchers advanced in Long Island Science and Engineering Fair

Five Kennedy High School research students recently competed in the second, and final, round of the Long Island Science and Engineering Fair, and one came away with a second-place award, one with a third place and three with honorable mentions.

LISEF’s first round was held at the Crest Hollow Country Club in February. Winners advanced to round two, also at Crest Hollow, in March. Round-two winners received an all-expense paid trip to the International Science & Engineering Fair, sponsored by the Intel Corporation.
