Local kickboxer victorious

There was a sellout crowd on hand for Lou Neglia's Combat at the Capitale on April 4th. The event displayed exciting fights between top fighters from the US and Canada. There were three championship fights on the night, including one featuring local fighter Andrew Ball, who attended Park Ave Elementary and Calhoun High School. Ball successfully defended his WKA World Championship against challenger and US National Champion Paul Miller, emerging victorious with a TKO victory coming on a stoppage after the second round. Ball credits kickboxing for turning his life around after a reckless youth.
