The popular tribute band will be rocking Eisenhower Park as summer heats up. The passionate musicians share that “Peaceful Easy Feeling” in their interpretation of the Eagles. Their critically acclaimed performance is a nonstop journey through numerous radio hits, Top 10 singles and favorite solo works of The Eagles — from the country -nspired “Take It Easy” to the soaring guitar rock anthem “Hotel California”. Playing the Eagles’ many hits with energy and conviction, Desert Highway recreates the inspired rich vocal harmonies and intricate guitar styles for which the Eagles were known.

Independence Day Celebrating

Salute To Veterans
Those Fourth of July festivities continue at the Town of Hempstead’s annual Independence Day concert, featuring a patriotic salute to military veterans, at Point Lookout this weekend. The beach will jumpin’ to the sounds of singer-songwriter Jerrod Niemann. The Nashville hitmaker, one of country music’s most original and talented innovators, will perform his acclaimed new single — recorded as a duet with his good friend and labelmate Lee Brice, “A Little More Love.” Niemann is also adding the finishing touches to his forthcoming album. He has quickly become a fan and industry favorite, earning award nominations from the Academy of Country Music, the Country Music Association and CMT while headlining his own shows and touring with such artists as Dierks Bentley, Brad Paisley and Keith Urban. Then it’s time for a patriotic display of pyrotechnics.
