LIT Movie Night: Beauty and the Beast: Looking for something to do that's fun and free on a Friday night? Fear not! The Bellmore, North Bellmore, Merrick and North Merrick libraries have joined forces to provide a special screening of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast." Authot Jen Calonita will be there before the movie to chat about her latest books in the Fairy Tale Reform School series. Free soda and popcorn is included. Grades 6-12 only (no parents, please). Sweet Selections Food Tasting: Monday, March 27 at 7 p.m. Jeanne Schnupp will prepare traditional taste treats from France - madeleines, from Switzerland - arguer ruebli torte, and from Austria, Viennese Vanillekipferl. While you savor your samples, Jeanne will whisk you away on a visual tour of these countries. Recipes will be provided for you to take home. No fee, but registration is required.

Seals Along the Shoreline: Spring forward by checking out the action along Hempstead Bay on a sail aboard the Captain Lou Fleet out of Freeport to view the harbor seal populations that spend their winters here. 631-369-9840.
