Two weeks after former New York State Comptroller Alan Hevesi was sentenced to prison for his role in a “pay-to-play” scheme, Governor Cuomo proposed “Hevesi’s Law,” aimed at keeping future state employees from collecting pensions if they’re convicted of an abuse of power.
