East Meadow residents enjoyed each other’s company at the Pope Pius XII Council Knights of Columbus’ fourth annual Polish Knight at St. Raphael’s.

Dozens of residents gathered at St. Raphael’s parish last Saturday for the fourth annual Polish Knight.

No, that’s not a typo — the evening, hosted by the East Meadow Pope Pius XII Council Knights of Columbus, celebrates Polish culture. Community members enjoyed a spread of Polish food, while music from the central European country was featured inside the church.

Raffles were also sold throughout the evening, and a portion of the event’s profits will be used to fund church repairs.
