Siena Marble & Tile proudly introduces their second showroom on Long Island, which recently debuted in Merrick. Their original and largest location, open since 2012, is in Huntington Station. And, in March, yet another will open in Albertson.

Each showroom offers impressive vignettes of kitchens and bathrooms, samples of tiles and marble, and a team of experienced designers. Inventory spans from unique top-of-the-line imports to more familiar, less pricey options. Designers are trained to cater to all budgets, from high-end to inexpensive. Jobs requested can be any size — from complete rooms or areas, to a small backsplash.

Customers can bring in blueprints or floor plans, and/or a designer can come to the person’s house to take measurements, make suggestions, and give tips. Spaces like a bathroom, kitchen, a backslash, an outdoor patio, deck, pool or a hot tub area, can be created or enhanced. Floor panels of porcelain, which look like real wood but are maintenance-free, are quite popular, especially in the Hamptons. Designers will generate sketches to scale and proportion to give the customer an idea of the final result.

The face of Siena Marble & Tile is owner and designer, Pablo Comuzzi. Originally from Argentina, he grew up learning and working in construction. After coming to the United States, he began specializing in marble and tile, and has been doing so for over 20 years. His selections are unusual due to his own resources, research and global travel. He has relationships with top quality companies around the world, and seeks out non-toxic, hand-made products. Many of his tile and marble collections come from Italy and Turkey. He knows what is beautiful and what won’t be found elsewhere, he says. And, he’s extremely picky.

Installations are separate; Siena Marble & Tile only sells the products. They will work with the customers’ contractors and architects, or refer reputable ones whom they know. Siena design services are free, including the home visits. Designers stay involved, even visiting after an installation to make sure it’s done correctly. No shortcuts are taken.
