A special Father’s Day event in East Meadow continued for the third consecutive year, as 160 fathers, children, nieces and nephews joined together at East Meadow Bowl on Front Street on June 14 for a night of bowling and family fun.
The annual event is organized by the Barnum Woods Elementary School PTA, and offers a chance for local dads to get out and enjoy a night of bowling and quality time with their young ones.
The event offered discounted food, drinks, and raffles as part of the festivities. The night was so well attended that participants took up 36 of the bowling alley’s lanes, and fathers and uncles could be seen in nearly every one teaching their kids the proper techniques of bowling.
