W.T. Clarke High School recently presented several performances of its musical production, “The Boy Friend” on Feb. 27 and 28.

Set in the French Riviera in the Roaring Twenties, “The Boy Friend” is a comic pastiche of the 1920s. The story focuses on a group of British girls studying in the south of France who carry on romances using mistaken identities.

The musical, originally produced in 1953, was written by Sandy Wilson.

The student cast dazzled audience members and brought the affectionate parody of 1920s musicals to life.
