Holy Trinity hosts annual community festival

It was fun and games this Labor Day weekend at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in East Meadow on Saturday, as the church hosted its annual Faith, Food and Fellowship Festival on its lawn on 369 Green Avenue.
The event featured a Greek and Slavic café, children’s activities, a Chinese auction, flea market, raffles, vendors and a live Balalaika band.
The festival aims to promote unity and community spirit — and an excuse to spend an entire afternoon outside — and that is exactly what happened last Saturday.
