Eisenhower Park welcomes the blues
Nassau’s summer concert series underway in East Meadow
On Saturday, June 22, the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre showed Long Islanders some soul. The Blues Traveler, a rock-blues band known for its ’90s hits such as “Run Around” and “Hook,” took the stage, as audience members enjoyed one of the many free concerts that will hit Eisenhower Park this summer.
County Executive Ed Mangano recently announced a blockbuster list of concerts that will run throughout August and September and culminate with Gloria Gaynor and the “We Will Survive: Strong Island” event sponsored by the New York Music & Events Group on Saturday, October 19.
