Specifically, Ratner said his architects informed him that the architecture of the Coliseum is “spectacular,” which was another incentive that motivated him to act.

Additionally, he noted Nassau’s “diverse” demographics as another attraction that appealed to his group.

“We will make this building great,” he added. “Make Long Island the place to be, the place to stay, the place for your kids to raise their own kids, and to create the excitement and the atmosphere that it deserves as one of the greatest communities in the United States.”
