New Jersey woman charged with criminal possession of forged credit cards

Nassau County Police Major Case Bureau reported the arrest of a New Jersey woman for criminal possession of forged instruments that occurred in Westbury on Friday, July 8 at 9:38 p.m.

According to detectives, Michelle Washington, 27, of Montgomery Street, Bloomfield, attempted to make a purchase with a forged re-encoded Master Card at the Dave & Buster’s at 1504 Old Country Road. At the time of her arrest, police officers found Washington to be in possession of four additional forged credit cards and marijuana.

Washington was charged with five counts of second-degree possession of forged instruments, attempted petit larceny and unlawful possession of marijuana. She was arraigned on Saturday, July 9, at the First District Court in Hempstead.
