A man armed with a black handgun robbed a Sunoco gas station on 2475 Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow in the early morning on Feb. 18, police report.

The man entered the gas station at 1:40 a.m., police say, and demanded cash from two male employees. He fled on foot with an unknown amount of money. No one else was inside the gas station, and police say no injuries were reported.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact 1-800-244- TIPS. All calls will remain anonymous.
