After robbing TD Bank Sunday, police say a woman fled in a “dark colored” car.

Nassau County Police are searching for this woman, who they say robbed the Hempstead Turnpike bank.

A TD Bank on 2549 Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow was robbed on Sunday, and as the Herald went to press on Tuesday evening, the suspect still remained at large.

According to Nassau County police, a woman entered the bank shortly after noon, and showed a demand note to the teller. After obtaining an unknown amount of money, she fled the scene in a “dark colored” car.

Police describe the woman as black with medium to dark complexion, approximately 5-feet, 5-inches tall, with a slim build.

There were six employees and two customers inside the bank at the time of the robbery. No injuries were reported.
