Police are searching for a group of young men who they say assaulted a male and female victim using a belt buckle outside of Zachary’s Night Club on 1916 Hempstead Turnpike at 3 a.m. on Sept. 13.

The suspects dragged the male victim by his arm around the parking lot, police say, causing multiple lacerations and contusions to his eye. The female victim was struck in the face with the belt buckle, and sustained a laceration to her head.

The victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The suspects fled in a 2014 white Kia Optima.

Police ask anyone who knows whereabouts of the subjects or has any information about this crime to call 1-800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain anonymous.
