The 25th Annual East Meadow Community Pride Day was held on June 11 at Speno Park in East Meadow. The event, founded in 1992, is a celebration to appreciate all the good things that the residents of East Meadow have in their community. It is a unique opportunity to learn about the businesses, community groups, civic associations, youth groups and schools in the area.

County Legislator Norma L. Gonsalves (R-East Meadow, LD 13), the presiding officer of the Legislature, attended. “This is an event that I look forward to every summer,” Gonsalves said. “I’m proud to see our community come together and celebrate the extraordinary place we live.”
