A small school bus slid off Bellmore Road and struck a tree on Thursday around 4 p.m.. No injuries were reported, according to police.

A small school bus slid off the road and struck a tree on Bellmore Road near First Avenue on Thursday around 4 p.m.
A police spokeswoman said there were children on the bus, but there were no injuries. She could not confirm which school district the bus belonged to, but East Meadow School District Superintendent Louis DeAngelo said the bus was not transporting East Meadow students.
