Students beautify Meadowbrook for spring

Meadowbrook Elementary School students redecorated the school’s gardens on Monday as part of an annual spring beautification project.
The sun was shining for this school wide celebration of the season. With shovels in hand, children of all ages — accompanied by teachers and East Meadow PTA members — dug holes in the front gardens and planted a vibrant variety of plants.
The school’s PTA purchased the plants. The group also sponsored a plant sale and Mother’s Day boutique the preceding Friday, May 6.
