Baldwin First Aid Co. held annual carnival

Posted

Last week, hundreds of Baldwinites came to enjoy the First Aid Company’s annual Carnival. The five-day event lasted from Wednesday to Sunday, and featured food, games, prizes, rides and more.

Laughter and joyful screams could be heard outside at Firemen’s Field in Baldwin as families and friends gathered together for the annual Carnival.

As guests took breaks in between carnival activities, they went over to the food setup, where volunteers prepared pizza, fried oreos, zeppelins, meatballs and other fried assortments to serve the people. Fried food, flavored icicles, carnival rides, games, and face painting, entertained Baldwin residents and guests from neighboring communities.

People attended the event to enjoy the carnival experience, spend quality time together and to raise money for the church community through volunteer work.

Despite some delays and cancellations due to the weather, the carnival went off without issue.
