The East Meadow Chamber of Commerce presented ribbon cuttings to celebrate three local businesses on July 26, welcoming to the community Verizon Wireless’s Cellular City, Worth Real Estate Brokerage and Management and Club Pilates.

East Meadow’s Cellular City is one of five Long Island locations and runs in the storefront that formerly housed a 7/11 on Hempstead Turnpike.

Worth Real Estate Brokerage and Management was founded in 1960 by Arthur Asdourian. It has since expanded from a small real estate office to a multi-faceted real estate company that operates across the tri-state area out of its East Meadow office on Bellmore Road.

The company focuses on construction, development, property management, tenant relationships, contract services, landlord representation and real estate transactions. Its tenants include Chipotle Mexican Grill, Sonic, the Vitamin Shoppe and Beach Bum Tanning.

Club Pilates opened on Front Street in the Stew Leonard’s shopping center on May 30 and hosted its grand opening on July 27. The Pilates boutique offers group and private classes, Pilates instructor education and trendy athleisure wear.

Club Pilates began in San Diego in 2007 before expanding across the country, modernizing the traditional method with group practice and high-quality equipment.
