Hodish recognized as a ‘Leading Personal Injury Lawyer’

Alan Hodish, an East Meadow resident and Garden City attorney, was recently recognized as one of New York’s 2018 “Leading Personal Injury Lawyers” by New York Magazine in its December issue, as presented by Leaders in the Law.

A private practitioner, Hodish has handled all forms of personal injury cases, education law matter and various criminal cases on Long Island and in Manhattan.

His case, Brandon Aran v. Christine M. Ortton, was recognized as New York’s Top Settlements of 2018 and yielded a settlement of $1 million for a young motorcyclist who was struck by a car making a left turn.

In addition to his New York Magazine honor, Hodish is a previous recipient of the Long Island Business News “Leadership in Law” award and the Nassau County Council of Chambers of Commerce title of “Business Person of the Year.”

Alan Hodish is a past President of the East Meadow Chamber of Commerce, he served as a three-term director of the East Meadow Kiwanis Club and he is a past president of the St. John’s University School of Law Alumni Association. He also served two terms as a Director of the Nassau County Bar Association.
