Momentous week at Davis Renov Stahler Yeshiva High School for Boys in Woodmere

Davis Renov Stahler (DRS) Yeshiva High School for Boys in Woodmere had much to celebrate last week.

On Purim evening, March, 11, 14 students completed the Torah unit relating to the Megillah, the story of the holiday. On March 19, 16 DRS graduates were ordained as rabbis at Yeshiva University.

The varsity hockey team defeated Frisch 3-1 to win the Metropolitan Yeshiva High School Athletic League championship. It was the 13th consecutive season that a DRS hockey squad appeared in at least one title game.

The high school’s Mock Trial team advanced to the Elite 8 in Nassau County and placed fourth out of a dozen schools in the Science Olympiad competition.
