Lesso Group Holdings local branch, Lesso Home New York Market is set to open next year in the market that once held the Westbury Source Mall. The design destination for home renovators and the building professionals recently announced that one of their tenants will be WanderLoft, a co-working space for designers that will occupy approximately 11,000 square feet in the market.

Seeking to provide both a functional and creative space, the WanderLoft team wanted to curate a dynamic surrounding for design professionals to connect and to innovate through work and play.

The multi-faceted space will include a massive material library that will act as a hub for designers to research and collect samples, a photo studio that is tailored to all industry needs, separate workspaces, private workstations, shared offices, meeting rooms and phone booths, large conference rooms and events spaces for design panels, galleries, lunch and learns, courses and more.

On top of these design-focused elements, WanderLoft will feature additional amenities such as a central lounge, wellness room, playzone, fully stocked pantry, parking, on-site staff and cleaning services.

"Since creative freelancers tend to work from home, research has found that their productivity can be hindered when they are not in a collaborative space,” said Tiffany Choi, Managing Director at WanderLoft. “According to global research by Deskmag and Deskwanted, 74 percent of coworkers are more productive after switching to a coworking space. We want designers to create meaningful work by enabling them with resources and opportunities, and this is why we set out to build WanderLoft."

"We are thrilled that WanderLoft has chosen Lesso Home as the location to debut its co-working center for designers as the brand's concept is an excellent fit for what we are seeking to provide Westbury and the surrounding community," said Michelle Zee, Director of Operations at Lesso Mall Development (Long Island), Inc. "We look forward to seeing and partaking in the events, partnerships and more which are incubated in this space."

WanderLoft is set to open in 2019, along with a number of unique facilities in Lesso Home New York Home Market, including showrooms for manufacturers of Home Furnishings, Interior Décor Products and Building Materials, entertainment and art exhibits, a children's activity center, dining options and more.
