Last year, through the dinner, garage sale and other fundraising efforts, Christopher’s Crew raised more than $30,000, and was recognized as the top fundraising team nationwide out of hundreds of teams and 21 different walk sites. Through the public’s support, Ambrosio said, treatments can improve to create a better quality of life for these children and adults.

“This years dinner was incredible!” said Kelly Ambroiso, Christopher’s mother. “The best one yet — over 300 people were in attendance, and more than 200 raffle prizes including a trip to Myrtle Beach, a 42” flat screen tv, and an overnight stay at the Oheka castle. The all new Coral House outdid itself with providing the perfect venue for such a special cause.”

The exact numbers are not confirmed but believed to be over $25,000 from this year’s benefit. Coming up to also support the cause: Eat at Mari Nara’s of Hewlett Monday March 18, and 20 percent of your order will be donated to Christopher’s hemophilia benefit.
