Crime Watch: East Rockaway, Lynbrook

Arrests
On Feb. 10 at 6:13 p.m.,  a 54-year-old man of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged with criminal contempt at the Nassau County Jail, located at 100 Carmen Ave., East Meadow.

At 5:05 a.m. on Feb. 11, a 27-year-old of Garrison, was arrested and charged with grand larceny and auto stripping at Anchor Audi located at 691 Merrick Road, Lynbrook.

A 25-year-old man of Laurelton, was arrested and charged with grand larceny and auto stripping at Anchor Audi located at 691 Merrick Road, Lynbrook, on Feb. 11 at 5:05 a.m.

On Feb. 11 at 8:40 p.m., a 39-year-old man of West Hempstead, was arrested and charged with petit larceny for an incident that occurred on Feb. 1 at White Castle located at 490 Sunrise Hwy, Lynbrook.

At 9:05 p.m. on Feb. 11, a 31-year-old of Franklin Square, was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, aggravated unlicensed operation and uninspected motor vehicle on Hempstead Avenue in Lynbrook.


A 52-year-old of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and Failure to Signal on Ocean Ave.


On Feb. 13 at 1:40 a.m., a 40-year-old of North Baldwin, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and speeding on Merrick Road in Lynbrook.


At 8:35 a.m. on Feb. 15, a 30-year-old of Freeport, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and an equipment violation on Merrick Road in Lynbrook.

A 32-year-old of Bronx, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, operate a motor vehicle with a hand held cell phone and failure to notify DMV of address change on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook on Feb. 16 at 11:40 p.m.

On Feb. 17 at 6:30 p.m., a 66-year-old of Locust Valley, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, unregistered motor vehicle, uninspected motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle, no registration plates and suspended registration (warrant) on Merrick Road in Lynbrook.

Grand larceny
At 7:25 p.m. on Feb. 11, a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) removed their Discover credit card while the complainant was at the Lynbrook Movie Theater, located at 321 Merrick Road. The card was then used to make unauthorized charges to the account.

Petit larceny
On Feb. 12 at 7:40 p.m., a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) removed an Apple iPad Mini from the driver’s side rear floor of their 2007 Chrysler, which was parked in the private parking area of Hot Skates, located at 14 Merrick Road, Lynbrook. The value of the Apple iPad is $450.

Lost property
At 9:49 a.m. on Feb. 15, a complainant reported that while crossing Peninsula Boulevard at Merrick Road in Lynbrook, the complainant lost their black Apple iPhone 5. The total amount of the loss is $500.
