Arrests
A 53-year-old of Lynbrook was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance at the Capri Motor Inn in Lynbrook at 8:10 p.m. on August 18.

At 7:38 a.m. on August 23, , a 37-year-old of Inwood, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Failed to Signal, and Equipment Violation on Earle Avene in Lynbrook.

A 41-year-old of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief on Robertson Road at 10:22 p.m. on August 2.

At 1:03 a.m. on August 25, a 33-year-old man of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Failed to Signal and Unlicensed Operation on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.


Burglary
A complainant reported that an unknown person(s) entered a Broadway residence in Lynbrook by pushing in a window air conditioner, and removed a women’s Michele watch valued at $2,000.

Property was stolen from unlocked vehicle while it was parked at 57 Cambridge Court in Bay Park in East Rockaway on June 28 between 4 a.m. and 10 a.m.

 Property was stolen from a pair of vehicles while they were parked on Sunset Avenue in Lynbrook between 11 p.m. of June 29 and 6:30 a.m. of June 30

Grand larceny

At 8:25 a.m. on July 26, someone reported that a Guess pocketbook was taken from 444 Merrick Rd. The pocketbook contained $300 in cash and credit and ID cards. The total amount of loss is $330.00.

The manager of Sunrise Volkswagen, located at 931 Sunrise Hwy in Lynbrook, reports that a 2011 Volkswagen Tiguan was taken while parked at the dealership at 2:25 p.m. on August. The total amount of loss is $25,000.00.

At 1:15 a.m. on August 8, a complainant reports that $2,000 in assorted US currency was taken from a 2013 Nissan Sentra parked on Stauderman Avenue in Lynbrook.

The rear driver’s side window was broken and a pocketbook containing a wallet and six assorted credit cards was taken from a 2013 Honda while parked in Recreation Field No. 1 in Lynbrook at 6:20 p.m. on August 23. The total loss was $351.

Petit larceny

At 3:54pm on July 28 a complainant reported that a 2010 Trek boy’s 20” Bicycle was taken from the Lynbrook LIRR Station. The total amount of loss is $300.00.
