At 8:11 a.m. on April 12,a 24-year-old man, of Valley Stream was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Marihuana and Equipment Violation on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
Identity theft
Leaving the scene of an auto accident
At 9:30 p.m. on April 9, a driver traveling west on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook reported that while stopped at a red light, their vehicle was struck by light-colored sedan, the driver of which left without making known their identity. The Lynbrook Police Detective Division is investigating the accident.
Lost property
A Florida registration plate was reported lost in the vicinity of Hendrickson Avenue in Lynbrook at 11:30 p.m. on April 9.
Assault
At 11:45 p.m. on April 9 a guest at the Capri Motor Inn, located at 5 Freer Street in Lynbrook, reported that at 8:30 p.m. on March 31, he was involved in a physical altercation with his roommate, which caused him to sustain injuries that required medical attention.
