Arrests

A 53-year old woman of Far Rockaway, was arrested and charged with grand larceny on Peninsula Boulevard in Lynbrook at 2:35 p.m. on April 18.

At 1:45 a.m. on April 20, a 21-year-old of South Ozone Park, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to signal on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.

 A 53-year-old man of Elmont, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and for not wearing a seat belt on Merrick Road in Lynbrook at 5:30 p.m. on April 21.

At 6:20 p.m. on April 23, a 63-year-old, of Commack, was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an auto accident that occurred on April 9 on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.

 A 38-year-old man, of Springfield Gardens, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to signal on Lakeview Avenue in Lynbrook at 3:05 p.m. on April 24.

At 2:22 p.m. on April 25, a 27-year-old, of Glendale, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Sherman Street in Lynbrook.

A 32-year-old, of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged with two counts of driving while intoxicated on Lakeview Avenue in Lynbrook at 10:26 p.m. on April 25.

A 43-year-old, of Far Rockaway, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, operating an unregistered, uninsured and uninspected motor vehicle on Broadway in Lynbrook at 5:45 a.m. on April 26.

At 9:50 a.m. on April 26, a 46-year-old man of Hempstead, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, suspended registration, uninspected motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle and no front license plate on Peninsula Boulevard in Lynbrook.

A 29-year-old  of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and three counts of equipment violation on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook at 11:55 a.m. on April 26.

Identity theft
At 4:10pm on April 17, it was reported that an unknown person(s) used the victim’s name and social security number to file a tax return.
Lost property

A Lynbrook Fire Department I.D. was reported lost in the vicinity of 175 Merrick Road in Lynbrook at noon on April 20.

Grand larceny
Two Apple iPhones were reported stolen from a 2007 Dodge Ram truck parked in the private parking area of Sportime, located at 175 Merrick Rd. in Lynbrook. The value of the two phones was $1,200.

A black wallet, containing an I.D., credit cards and cash was reported stolen from a 2008 Acura parked in the rear of 5 Corner Fitness, located at 230 Hempstead Ave. in Lynbrook at 4:40 p.m. on April 20. The total lost was $270.

 A Sunoco sign was reported stolen from the Sunoco Gas Station, located at 351 Scranton Ave. in Lynbrook, at 9:25 a.m. on April 25.The total lost was $5,000.
