Crime Watch: East Rockaway, Lynbrook

Arrests
A 38-year-old of Elmont, was arrested and charged with an open warrant from the New York City New York City Police Department for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook at 11:20 p.m. on March 30.

At 3:47 a.m. on March 31, a 28 year-old of East Rockaway, was arrested and charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance on Forest Avenue in Lynbrook.

A 21-year-old man of Merrick, was arrested and charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and one count each of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Uninspected Motor Vehicle and Suspended Registration on Ocean Avenue in Lynbrook at 6:55 p.m. on March 31.

At 8:52 p.m. on March 31, a 20-year-old man, of Laurelton, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.

A 20-year-old man, of Laurelton, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook at 8:52 p.m. on March 31.

At 7:02 p.m. on April 1, a 23-year-old, of Valley Stream, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Failed to Stop at a Stop Sign on Ocean Avenue in Lynbrook.

 A 23-year-old of Valley Stream, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Unreasonable Speed on Horton Avenue in Lynbrook at 10:01 p.m. on April 1.

At 10:13 p.m. on April 1, a 22-year-old, of Rosedale, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Resisting Arrest, Criminal Contempt and Assault on Columbus Drive in Lynbrook.

At 8:15 p.m. on April 2, a 37-year-old, of Valley Stream, was arrested and charged with Assault and Criminal Construction of Breathing for an incident that occurred at 8:55 a.m. on April 2 at 150 Merrick Road in Lynbrook.

A 22-year-old man, of Valley Stream, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance on Forest Avenue in Lynbrook at 6:15 p.m. on April 3.

At 6:58 p.m. on April 4, Robert V. Pierre-Antonie, 23, of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, Unlawful Imprisonment and Menacing for an incident on Earle Avenue in Lynbrook.

Lost property

At 10 p.m. on March 30, two New York State registration plates were reported lost in the vicinity of 55 Wright Avenue in Lynbrook.
Criminal mischief
n The owner of Plaza Theatrical Productions, Inc., located at 34 Forest Avenue in Lynbrook, reported that two of their vehicles were spray painted while parked at Municipal Parking Field No. 8 sometime between 12 p.m. on March 28 and 8 a.m. on March 30. The total amount of the damage was $900.

Attempted Identity Theft
n At 6 p.m. on April 1 a resident reported that an unauthorized 2014 Federal Tax Return was filed with the Internal Revenue Service in their name.
