Crime Watch: Lynbrook, East Rockaway

Arrests
On April 19 at 2:50 a.m., a 38-year-old of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, two counts, on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.

At 2:30 p.m. on April 21, a 32-year-old, of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Suspended Registration, Failure to Signal, No Safety Belt, Unregistered Motor Vehicle and Uninspected Motor Vehicle on Whitehall Street in Lynbrook.

A 23-year-old, of Freeport, was arrested on April 21 at 2:30 p.m.and charged with two open warrants for Suspended Registration on Whitehall Street in Lynbrook.

On April 21 at 9:05 p.m. a 64-year-old, of East Rockaway, was arrested and charged with Leaving the Scene of an Auto Accident at Lynbrook Police headquarters located at 1 Columbus Drive.

On April 22, at 11:10 p.m. a 25-year-old, of West Hempstead, was arrested and charged with open warrant for Criminal Possession of a Weapon on Sunrise Highway.

A 66-year-old, of South Farmingdale, was arrested on April 23 at 6:05 p.m. and charged with Criminal Contempt at Lynbrook Police headquarters located at 1 Columbus Drive.

On April 28 at 1:52 p.m.,a 24-year-old, of Uniondale, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and Uninspected Motor Vehicle on Peninsula Blvd.

Petit larceny
At 9:09 a.m. on April 25, a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) removed six Koi fish from their pond at their house located on Baylis Place. The value of the fish is $400.

On April 27, At 11:30 p.m. it was reported that three bicycles were taken from backyard of a residence on Sunrise Highway. The value of the property is $1,200. Two bicycles were taken between April 21-26, and the third was taken between April 26-27.

Identity theft
At 12:54 p.m. on April 26, it was reported that someone made 18 unauthorized charges on an Astoria Federal savings account. The amount of the charges is $1,318.38.
