Further, Mangano proved to be a tremendous leader last year, during Hurricane Sandy. Thanks to the persistence of Governor Cuomo and Mangano, it was announced last week that approximately 4,000 Long Island homeowners will receive an average of $110,000 under a post-Sandy housing reconstruction program through the NY Rising program.
It’s pretty clear why Newsday would endorse one of its own. On Election Day, I’ll be supporting Ed Mangano, and I hope you’ll join me.
