At 10:40 a.m. on Jan. 11, a 27-year-old Kings Park man was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation on Vincent Avenue in Lynbrook.
A 28-year-old of Valley Stream, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of marijuana and tinted windows on Sunrise Highway on Jan. 11 at 6:55 p.m.
On Jan. 12 at 6:30 a.m., a 30-year-old woman of Wantagh was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, aggravated unlicensed operation, suspended registration and uninsured motor vehicle on Waterview Place in Lynbrook.
At 11:45 a.m. on Jan. 13, a 39-year-old Springfield Gardens man was arrested and charged with criminal impersonation, false personation, aggravated unlicensed operation, uninsured motor vehicle and equipment violation on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
Grand larceny
On Jan. 7 at 5:40 p.m., a complainant, the branch manager of Enterprise located at 184 Merrick Road in Lynbrook, reported that unknown person(s) stole their 2013 Volkswagen Toureg, which was at Sunrise Volkswagen. The value of the vehicle is $40,000.
Unknown person(s) removed personal property from a victim’s shopping cart at CVS on Atlantic Avenue in East Rockaway at 4:45 p.m. on Jan. 11.
Aggravated harassment
At 3:15 p.m. on Jan. 8, a complainant reported that they have received harassing text messages, which have put them in fear of their safety. The Lynbrook Detective Division is investigating.
Assault
On Jan. 8 at 9:45 p.m., a complainant responded to Nassau County Police Department to report that while at a social gathering on Oakland Avenue in Lynbrook on Jan. 1 at 1 a.m., the complainant was assaulted by another person at the gathering. The Lynbrook Police Department Detective Division is currently investigating the assault.
Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle
At 12:10 p.m. on Jan. 9, a complainant, the security manager of Hertz Rent a Car located at 56 Horton Ave. in Lynbrook, reported that their 2012 Chevrolet Impala, which was rented on Sept. 15, 2012, has not been returned.
