The one airline whose planes can successfully detect rocket attacks is El Al, the flagship airline of Israel. With the proliferation of rocket attacks around the world, major airlines should begin thinking about equipping their planes with rocket-detection systems.
It is unfortunate that we have reached this point.
The estimated cost of this kind of system is $1 million. That seems a small price to pay for the safety of airline passengers.
