Arrests

a 31-year-old male of St. Albans, Queens, was arrested and charged with two open warrants in Lynbrook on Dec. 14 at 9:50 p.m.

On Dec. 15 at 1:12 a.m., a 22-year-old male of Lynbrook was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), and criminal possession of a hypodermic needle on Olive Place.

At 4:24 a.m. on Dec. 15, a 33-year-old of St. Albans, Queens, was arrested and charged with trespassing inside the Volkswagen dealership lot on Sunrise Highway.

A 29-year-old female, of Smallwood, N.Y., was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, four counts of aggravated unlicensed operator, unlawful possession of marijuana and leaving the scene of an accident on Peninsula Boulevard Dec. 16 at 3:15 p.m.

On Dec. 17 at 9:24 p.m., a 53-year-old female of Lynbrook was arrested and charged with criminal mischief on Sunrise Highway.

At 3:50 p.m. on Dec. 18, a 61-year-old male of Farmingdale was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operator, unlicensed operator and having an uninspected vehicle on Peninsula Boulevard.

Thefts

A male white suspect wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans and a black piece of clothing partially covering his face stole money while displaying a meat cleaver at Little Anthony’s Deli on 342 Broadway on Dec. 12 at 4:50 p.m. He was approximately 6 feet tall and fled southbound on Broadway.

Items in a box that was delivered to a home on Central Avenue were stolen at 6:59 p.m. on Dec. 12. Items stolen totaled $160.

Someone used a stolen MasterCard to pay for nearly $6,000 worth of repairs to a 2012 Audi Sedan at Audi of Lynbrook on 855 Sunrise Highway on Dec. 13 at 10:05 a.m.
