The drill will pit neighboring fire departments in the Fourth Battalion Fire District and other guest departments in ladder and hose competition beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 26, at the firefighter's tournament course at Greis Veterans Memorial Park off Wright Avenue in Lynbrook. Trophies will be awarded.

During the drill, the Recreation Building in the park will be holding Games of Chance from 7 to 11 p.m., while food vendors will also be in the park. On Saturday, June 27, beginning at 6 p.m., the Fourth Battalion Parade will start at Merrick Road and Charles Street and proceed down Merrick Road to Wright Avenue and into Greis Park.

Besides the Games of Chance and food vendors, there will be live music by a local band, Playback. There will also be a bounce playground for the children. Parade trophies will also be awarded that evening. McDermott asks residents to come and enjoy the competition and to cheer on your firefighters.
